Elder Vernell Jenkins

Elder Vernell Jenkins knows that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. She is one who is not afraid to go to the streets, highways and byways, witness and do the will of God.

​

Elder Vernell Jenkins has been married to Elder Leonard Jenkins for 23 years. From this union we share 6 children and a host of grandchildren that we love dearly.

​

Elder Vernell Jenkins has a passion for Intercessory prayer, a passion to encourage to build young women lives everywhere, a heart for outreach, prison ministry and to help restore those that are lost to Christ Jesus.

​

Elder Vernell Jenkins is a licensed ordained minister and a faithful member of the Inspiring Temple of Praise Church under the leadership of Bishop Reginald D. Jordan.

She has serviced in many capacities of ministry.

​

Elder Vernell Jenkins knows that the harvest is ripe but the workers are few. She is one who is not afraid of Praying doing spiritual warfare on behalf of God’s people and going to the streets, the highways the byways being a witness for Christ and doing the will of God.

Minister Barbara Carter

Minister Barbara Carter is the mother of 3 beautiful children and two grandchildren. She is an entrepreneur and Registered Nurse with over 28 years of nursing

experience.

Minister Barbara has a heart for the people of God and is called in the area of intercession and preaching the Gospel. She is on the Ministerial sta& and is the Intercessory Prayer Director at Inspiring Temple of Praise Church under the

leadership of Bishop Reginald D. Jordan.

​

Minister Barbara has been a motivational and inspirational speaker for over 10 years. Her heart’s desire and most important work is to free God’s people from bondage and lead souls to Christ through prayer.

Evangelist Lula Carr

Lula Ellis born in Greenwood, MS where she received her BA in Sociology

from Mississippi Valley State University.

​

Lula started ministry in 1997 under the leadership of Apostle Dr. Vera Kemp

as an Armor Bearer and licensed minister before moving to Richardson, TX.

In 2009 Lula started her own ministry called “Lend Me Your Ear Ministries”

which is a non-pro3t organization that serves needy families in the

surrounding Dallas/Fort Worth areas.

​

In 2010 she received a MA in Professional Development from Dallas Baptist

University with certi3cation in Leader for Non-Pro3t Organizations. Lula

currently serves under the leadership of Pastor Steve Ogah as a youth

minister and counselor. Lula also is a radio host on power214.com radio,

actress, and inspirational poet for Mike Guinn Entertainment, Mother of two

college students, writer, and servant for multiple ministries

First Lady Helene Kennon

Helene is a native of East Texas (Jasper). She attended school in the Jasper Independent School District, graduating in 1968. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in Bishop College in Dallas, TX, where she met her future husband and pastor, A. L.

Kennon, Jr.
 

Pastor and Sis. Kennon are the parents of three children, Katrina, Vanessa (married to James Herron III) and Asher. Each has been wonderfully blessed and anointed by God for service in the end time. They are the proud grandparents of Ashley, Jamey, Kienna and Brenda.

Over the past thirty-four (34) years she has served along with her husband at two churches. During this time Father has done a continuous new thing in their ministry. She has a tremendous testimony of signs, wonders and miracle after miracle, all because of the faithfulness of Father God. There are scriptures that have been the foundation of her testimony down through the years; Jeremiah 33:3, I John 4:7,8; Matthew 18:18,19; Luke 10:19; Zechariah 4:6 and I Peter 2:24. God “watches over His Word to perform

it."

Nathan Young

Nate developed an appreciation for music at an early age. His mother, Virginia, and grandmother, Emma Butler, attended Love Sanctuary C. O. G. I. C. where he took his first piano lessons at age 6. As an adolescent, Nathan was a member of the original King’s Kids, a music and cultural organization for youth. Before graduation from O. D. Wyatt Fine Arts High School, he was a member of the concert choir under the direction of the renowned Jewel Faye Kelly. Placing a level Division 1 in vocal classical allowed Nate to perform in the All City Honors Choir in Austin, TX. The O. D. Wyatt Singing Chaparrals placed in U. I. L. Division 1 in sight reading in 1996. After graduation and attending Tarrant County Junior College, Nate then joined Kirk Franklin’s Nu Nation and 1 Nation Crew and toured from 1999 to 2003.

 

Nate plays the piano, Hammond organ, drums, and guitar, creates vocal arrangements, writes and produces music.

 

In 2012, Nathan created the music design and was the music director for Jubilee Theatre’s Tambourine to Glory and was an accompanist for Auntie Explains Xmas directed by Phyllis Cicero.

 

He was on staff as lead musician at Saintsville Cathedral for over 20 years under Pastor Milton and Shirley Pace where he provided music lessons for adults and children.

 

He has been the lead musician at Grace Temple SDA Church for over 10 years beginning in 2005.

 

Nate was an intern student and scholarship recipient in 2010 and 2014 at the Hampton University Music Conference in Hampton, VA.

 

Nate’s favorite music genres are Classical, Jazz, Rock, Soul, Old School R&B, and Reggae.

 

In 2015, Nate completed a course at the Doretta Steinway University School at Steinway Hall and is a valued member of the Steinway Educational Partners Program.
